"I've had the pleasure of working with Sarah for over 8 years teaching my 3 children to play music on piano, flute, and saxophone. Sarah has a gift for working with kids of all ages. Her unflaggingly positive encouragement and skill at breaking things down into manageable steps has helped my kids grow from their first hesitant attempts to a real enjoyment of playing music. By working with Sarah, my kids have felt prepared and capable in their school band classes. “Sarah was an inspiring flute teacher. She encouraged me to audition for the CU Honor Band, and with lots of her help and instruction I was selected to participate. The CU MS Honor Band was probably the best music experience I have had because I got to play with a big group of incredible musicians and learn to play and get confidence with very challenging music. I even ended up with a tambourine solo in the final show! It was a rewarding experience that I will never forget and would never would have had without the encouragement of Sarah.”

"I have been taking piano lessons with Mrs. Morrison for over 10 years now, ever since I was barely big enough to reach the pedal. She is empathetic and understands that we can have busy lives at times, but shows that it’s still possible to improve and enjoy playing an instrument no matter how much we invest into it. She has introduced me to playing all different kinds of genres of piano music, like classical, ragtime, and even pop, allowing me to become more versatile as a musician. But most importantly, because I’ve been lucky enough to have her as my teacher for so long, piano will be my hobby way after I’m done taking lessons and music will always remain one of my passions."
