I have been teaching music to students all across the Front Range since 2005 as both a private instructor and classroom music teacher. While I currently work part-time at Summit Middle School in Boulder, CO as the director of Bands, Jazz & Orchestra, I have continued to teach individual lessons through my own private studio on piano and a variety of band instruments. Before starting at Summit M.S. in 2015, I taught pre-k through 8th grade music at a private school in Broomfield for 10 years, where I started the band program from scratch. I received my Bachelor's in Music Education from Coe College and went to graduate school in Musicology at the University of Denver where I was a graduate assistant and continued to perform regularly on the trumpet, my primary instrument. 

I currently perform with the local swing band William & The Romantics. When not making music, I stay very active as a runner, cyclist & triathlete, and coach. I feel very lucky to live a life of doing and teaching the things that bring me joy and I hope to instill that same passion and joy in others through my teaching! I love working with all different ages and abilities and am able to cater my lessons to what each individual is looking to get out of learning their instrument.  

These rates are for lessons in my home studio or online.
